hi guys, i have not been here for about 2 months now but i miss YT like crazy. hey Marc and Eric my 4runner has passed away, it's in my garage awaiting a new engine 3.0, does anyone know where to get one cheap. i want to give the truck to my lil brother whom is 16. at least he wont be raceing around right??? well i still get out there and offroad but in my new rig, i will post pictures tonight. it's an 03 land rover discovery 7 seater. it's got everything i have ever wanted, solid axels and lockers and looks awsome....later guys

some are in gorman by magic mountain and te others are azusa off 210fwy and azusa......does anyone have directions to pismo beach, i'm gonna ride out there today

 

Why would you put in another 3.0? It's not exactly the greatest engine Toyota ever made.... If mine goes, a 3.4 is going in!

Nice pics man..one of these days, im going to own a defender. Ive always wanted a LR disco. I may get one when I start my career...they are pretty cheap used.

 

i'm not asian my girlfriend is! i guess i dont understand what your trying to say. the old discovery is cheap and weak with a lot of problems, but not these new ones....HEHEHEHE, it gives me a nice 4.6 V8. the defender on the other hand is not worth it unless you get a 94 or higher....that will run you about 40-45k for a clean one. as for my 4runner i love the old guy, and the 3.0 has plenty of power to get me around in the hills...so anybody know of a good place in southern california to purchase engines??

 

I would invest in doing the 3.4L swap if you need a new engine.

Yea, D90s go for about 30-35k.

 

wont i need to get the new tranny and computer and wire harness? for the 3.4 swap....it seems like a lot of extra money and work. i have a shop that will put in a 3.0 for $500 and it seems like a good deal.
