e locker in 2nd gen?

Agreed, just buy a Lockright or Detroit, less $$ and less headache than taking her E-locker, then figuring out how to replace that locker that you just took. It makes a lot more sense for you to just buy a locker for yourself.

I agree with Shane - you can find e-locker 3rds in the junkyard easily enough nowadays. You might even be able to find the right ratio. That is an additional issue with snagging your sisters. I doubt they are the same ratio - and they need to match...

Alright that does sound reasonable! I was just thinking my sis doesn't use her locker so might as well take it! But it's too much work, thanks for setting it straight guys!!!

it wouldnt be a good idea anyway, despite the ratio, she has an 8" carrier if it has a locker. non-locked tacomas have 8.4". so you'd either have to find another tacoma rear locker (which makes it pointless to take your sisters) or find a replacement 8" from a 3rd gen 4runner, which im not even sure that would work bc of housing differences
