Diff oil for ARB locker?

What are people here running in their ARB equipped diffs?

The reason I ask is that I called ARB today to ask about getting my compressor fixed and why I'm going through so many o-rings, and they said that if you use oil with limited slip friction modifier, it can eat the o-rings.

I find this kinda hard to believe, as almost all synthetic is suitable for use in limited slips, and I know a lot of people are running synthetic ...

I don't have one personally, but since it's not engaged all the time, it shouldn't need anything other than regular diff fluid.

Yeah, I run heavy shockproof based on your experience roger...

of course, I think back to the over a year where I had no issues with the locker in the Heavy Shockproof and think if it were the oil, I would have had the problem then...
