Anyone running 02 to 04 1/2 ton springs?

 

Do you have some or are you going to go hunt for some?
If you have em, I would definatly try them.
If your going to hunt for some they are probably more expensive. I don't really know.

I actually got some springs from a 3/4 chevy. Can't remember the year, it was probably like a 98 or something. I run 3 leafs(of 5) and it works amazing. Plus the lift was over 5"(over sag)! But I think that was because the springs were so health and "perky" I don't thing the truck had many miles on it.

The point is that it doesn't have to be EXACTLY like everyone else to work good. You can change it up to fit your needs by removing/adding/switching leafs.

But if you really must have someone who has used them I vaguely remember someone on the pirate chevy faq who ran some late model ones. Read all 17 or so pages.

 

If you go to any truck accesories shops that lower truck all the 02-06 1/2 ton chevy crewcab 2wd when you lower them you change the whole springs and can get for $50 or more .I built 3 rigs running these in the back and they flex good
