Regarding my suspension, not sure if this is a good thing or not... What do you experts say? Is this decent articulation?

I forgot to mention I am a 4WD noob, never been on a trail... I thought this was a trail but it ended up being a POS 1/4 mile driveway to a parking lot... I did have some fun on the way back though...

Don't be alarmed, Jim likes Fords, hahaha. I think you need to find some embankments that are a little more steep.

Yeah, I was a bit scared to go any higher, first time and all. There was a pretty steep section there, I'm going to try to get my passenger side front tire up it sometime next week for fun.

Disconnect your anti-sway bars when you hit the trail. That should make a decent improvement to your stock setup, and best of all it is easily and quickly reversable if you don't like it or when you need to drive home.

I'm already lifted 2.5" but I have a 2" body lift coming. Probably going to go with some 33's soon as well.

This is actually what a STOCK 4runner (265/75's and NO LIFT) can do.

Well, I am not an expert, but here is my opinion.

Pics are hard to see - I only know that there is more going on there because I used to take exactly the same pics, develop them, and then look at them and wonder if I actually did anything.

Ultimately, if you got where you wanted to go, your articulation is fine. If you didn't, and you are willing to spend money and time on it, then it could be better. Also, take some basic measurements. Doesn't matter from where, but be sure you measure the same 2 spots before and during articulation. That will give you a place to start. Also, did you hit your bumpstops?

I wheeled my littler sister's stock 2002 4R this past weekend. She was impressed with what it could do, but it was very different from my setup.
