Champion Winches

Anyone ever heard of this brand of winch, or maybe own/used one? I'm looking at a new 8000lb for a good price. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Costco here in Canada are selling them for $389.00 (cdn). I've read some pretty good reviews about them on various forums too. http://www.championpowerequipment.co...00lb_winch.htm

looks to me that for the price its at least better than the harbor freight ones, a series wound motor like on the champion is ideal. You want to stay away from the permanent magnet motors as they are notorious for burning up.
