ok so i got some questions, but first let me fill you in on all the details. It pretty much started with youtube, i saw a 83 yota pickup with a 350 V8 swap in it, i got a hard on. but thats besides the point, so i have aquired a 350 (which is currently in my basement, bare block, got it at lunch time today and stripped it down) and monday im gonna go get the pickup, and 84 5spd 4x4 solid axle yada yada yada. so ive done all my homework as far as clearences with the motor and having to have a decent amount of lift to clear the oil pan, but my real question is, what do i really need to do to the suspension to make it strong enough to hold that 350, bc the damn thing is heavy, bc i moved it by myself 4 times today, so if anyone has any pointers id appreciate it, and if anyone has any other things theyd like to throw in about the swap please feel free. bein 18 and about to start college money is kinda tight so if anyone has any good bang for your buck type stuff please let me kno.
