shane- just so that i understand what your saying. your crossmember lifts the tranny 5/8" without a body lift and any other mods to the drivetrain. how high can you go without having to mess with the motor mounts also?

Yes, you can squeeze a little over a half inch of clearance out of there without changing the floor pan. You can go quite a ways up, the engine mounts are very flexible. Most guys who do the drivetrain lift are leaving the engine mounts stock and lifting the tranny end to level out the drivetrain which on my current setup also happens to help my driveline angles. Heh, I guess I do have a valid excuse for chopping up the cab floor.
