body lift blues

i have an 85 toyota ext. cab with a 3" body lift, i just swapped cabs cause the cab mounts had pounded up through the floor. has this happened to anyone else? the reason i swapped cabs was because of the same problem. does anybody have a suggestion? thanks

Two common causes of that problem:

1. Using lift blocks with too small a diameter, concentrating the forces on a smaller area of the floor:

Lift block at least as large as the body mount bushing:

2. Water leaking around the windshield or cowl area causing the cab floor to rust out and punch through.
