Duty cycle is how long a compressor motor can run before it has to rest to cool down....

100% means it can run all the time.

50% means it can run for 30 mins before it needs to stop...

And so on and so on.

The only problem w/ a York and such is that the vehicle must be running to use it...

The only problem w/ an Extreme Air is that you must have a charged battery to use it...

Figure for yourself what's easier...
