what would you guys say are the biggest mud tires i could put in a stock 93 4x4? i have 31/10.50's right now, but they are all weather tires.

 

Ok, so, before we get any further, the search function will help you out. This is probably THE most common question this board gets.

Now, your question:

It depends on whether you want to lift or not. I had a 90 4x4 not too long ago. 32x11.50's will fit with some rubbing, but 33x10.50's will fit quite well, a bit of rubbing, but you get to use the stock rims. If you lift it, 33x12.50's will fit just fine. 35's with a body lift. Keep in mind that an 11.5 inch wide tire it is suggested that you get new wheels, and 12.5 inches wide, it's a must. I wouldn't suggest going over 35's though, the stock IFS doesn't really like that.

 

but what about the suspension and stuff. i already have alloy wheels, but i don't plan on a lift or changing axels or anything like that. i just want to put the biggest tires that will fit without any modifications.

 

And it depends on how wide you're alloys are. I'm guessing 7" wide. Therefore the same as stock. You need to go to 8" wide wheels if you are going to run 12.5 inch wide tires and would be a very good idea to do that if you get 11.5" wide tires.

Hey man, sorry for being harsh before. Sick + school work + other stuff = me being cranky.

Anyways, I run the metric equivalent to 33x10.50's. I don't have a lift, and I was able to use the stock wheels. They do rub a touch, nothing bad though.
