anyone use the Warn multi-mount winch frame?
Instead of dedicating my new Warn M8000 to one particular vehicle, what is the general consensus on using Warn's multi-mount winch frame; is it a viable option?

(yes, I realize it is highly recommend against wheeling by yourself, so this video just represents an example of how this portable cradle can be used)

I never used one so I'm no help there, although, I did see one in action. Worked quite well on a straight pull but tended to "rotate" on the receiver. Whatever play was in the hitch/receiver seemed to amplify with the winch. Again this was one demonstration I watched at a show...

I have one that gets moved around quite a bit.
I have a 9.5 Ti I have it wired so I can use it on 3 different vehicles and on my trailer if need be.
Nice if I don`t need it it lives in the house nice and dry.
That is the only reason I got the mount is to be able to move it front to back Because if I need it I sure don`t want to pull myself deeper into the mess.
