I see a 9500lb and a 12000lb but no 16000lb one on their site.

But 5CFM at 90 PSI is pretty darn good!

Yep, I posted it in the FJ Cruiser section earlier in the week.
Also on Davids site.

I like the idea and the weight is not much more than a normal winch.
All I can say is that the stock electrical system will be marginal if the compressor is run for more than a few minutes. Winches draw outrageous amperage and this compressor is no different. The FJC's alt is top notch for a stock rig, but a dual battery system would be an excellent addition and provide a margin of self sufficiency in the back country.
I would estimate that this compressor would drop a stock battery or even an optima to below 12 volts in under 5 minutes of use, even with the engine running.
Just my .02

Good point - but man that thing is huge!

Powerplant Dual Force HP (9,500 lb version)
100 lbs

9.5ti
89 lbs

9.5xp
87 lbs

Don't know what Viair compressors weigh, but I went and weighed my Extremeaire and it weighs 17 1/2 pounds, so it appears that there is some weight savings. I guess the only downsides besides the huge size, is that it's something else someone will try to steal off the front of your rig and having extra weight cantilevered way past the front tires.

I would love to see someone carrying that accross the parking lot from the truck he jacked it from .

Thats for all 4 tires, 5CFM at 90 psi is REALLY good.. ARB's run about .8 or .9 cfm at that pressure..

Shoot, even finding a Craftsman or Home Depot compressor that does 5cfm at 90 psi will cost you a pretty penny.
