Anyone drop the support arms for the rear axle?

I was just thinking about it, but, the two "bars" or support arms that attach to the rear axle (new coil-sprung 4runners) are at a higher angle when lifted than stock.

I saw in the Downey cat. that they make drop brakets for the fj40 control arms.

Why dont the 4runners need to? Seems like it would work well.

You can probably check with Slee Offroad. Tehy have spend many years now building systems to lift live axles. They tend to lengthen the control arms once they go for like 6" lifts. Check out what they do to the suspension on live axle systems. www.sleeoffroad.com

FJ-40's have leave springs.

Adding brackets is a good way to increase the rock anchor nature of those mounts.
