99 4wd Coil swap questions
I just bought 99 4wd coils for my 2002 2wd 4runner. The front coils still have the stock shock in them. I plan to just swap out the front coil over assembly. I am wondering if I need to get new shocks for the rear or if the rear shocks will be fine? I do not want the truck to sit awkwardly. Any help would be apreciated.
Another question is how long do the stock shocks and coils usually last?
Thank you for any help.

People recomend that you change them out if you're already down there. So its NOT necessary to change them out unless theyre worn out. You runner will not sit aquardly. Im going to be putting on 99 coils this weekend and im not changing out my shocks and i have a 97.

I did that swap a while ago along with the Daystar 2 1/5" spacer lift. I went ahead and replaced the shocks.
2wd springs(left), 4wd springs(right)

With stock 2wd rear springs

Notice the slight rear sag

With 4wd rear springs

Rear sag fixed
