Hello all,

I've been thinking about that mod on my diesel 2nd gen but...

What about the intake noise? I think you'll hear pssssss all time...

And what about the heater/AC? If you put the heater/AC on and the intake will breathe in the cold/cool air and will be like having none AC/Heater...

Thx,

David

more fun uses for an internal snorkel: fool your friends!

tonight i was riding with a friend who hadn't been in my truck since the snorkel install, and when he heard it, he wondered what all the increased noise was about. i told him i swapped in a 4.7 iforce v8 in there, and he thought i was bluffing, but i kept serious about it, giving it some gas to help erase his doubts. finally in the drive though line at in n out i said go check it and popped the hood. he got out, and the first thing i see after the hood lowers are two middle fingers aimed right at me haha it was grand.

another good use is to really step on it and around 4k RPM it gets sooooooo loud and droned that the person in the passenger seat cant hear a thing, its quite annoying.
so for those really bad dates, just step on it everywhere, and annoy the crap outta the passenger.
