4runner Lift Shock Options

I have been looking for shocks for my 3" lift kit for my 1999 and have gotten a lot of helpful infomation from everyone... Thanks all... So lately I have been comiling information from shock manufacturers as well and figured i would just post it up for your info in case you didnt want to go with the OME convention, or can't afford it like myself... All of the following will fit the front of our 3rd 4-runners with lift:

Rancho RS 9000

The blue TRD tacoma stock shock that everyone uses... They are stock with the offroad package on the tacomas.

Don't waste your money on Monroes. I wouldn't put monroes on my grandmas car. I had them for a couple of weeks and found the "handling" down right dangerous.

I know that the same company makes monroe and Rancho. I haven't had any Ranchos but at least they are made for offroad. The Monroes are WAY TOO SOFT. You will loose alot of handling with the Monroes. Just my experence.
