4G 4Runner Revtek Spacers
Hello all. New to the forum and looking forward to joining conversations.
I'm not an expert in suspensions by any means and I'm looking for advice. I have to replace my shocks and struts anyway, so while I replace those I'm wanting a modest lift for my 4th generation 4runner. I got a quote from "Desert Rat Offroad Truck Center". They will install the 2.5/3" revtek spacer kit (with shocks) as well as rancho struts for an "out the door" price of $1291. This seemed reasonable to me (not sure I have the expertise to do it myself).
Does anyone have any advice on whether or not this would be a good decision? If anyone is in the Phoenix area, do you have other places you could recommend?
Thanks everyone. Happy to join all of you.

I'm curious...why would this be better than spacers?
Also, could you recommend a manufacturer? Desert Rat said that for my 4runner this was their only way to lift it.
Obviously there are other ways to do it, but not through the manufacturers they work with.
I guess I'm asking if you can be more specific.
Thanks.

Well Idk who these desert rat people are but you should get some different advice (guess thats why your here..)
Anyway, I found This from toytech, If you see my first post I said "(OLD MAN EMU)" Theyre a lift manufacturer and make great products.
Also, Spacers add preload to springs, making the ride stiffer and harsher.
Check out http://www.toyota-4runner.org/ They have tons of 4th gen runners and you can probably just troll along and see what other people are doing rather then ask the dreaded lift question.
Anyway, Hope I helps some.
