A top-shift goes for ~$100-150. I just saw where someone bought a turbo case for $200 and thought he got a good deal (I think so too). FWIW, I paid nothing for my turbo case but its a long story

The input gear isn't too tough to replace. You either need a press (the bearing is pressed on), or have Marlin press a new one on for you before he ships it. You do need to completely tear the case apart though, the input shaft is at the front (duh) and they disassemble from the rear.

According to Matrlin and the other web sources, Toyota wants $230 or so. With your discount it ends up a wash but you won't have any shipping.

does that include the bearing or not. if not how much does the bearing useually run? also would it be a good idea to rebuild the case depending on how many miles it has?
Thanks

You can re-use the 21-spline bearing, it is the same one.
