A top-shift goes for ~$100-150. I just saw where someone bought a turbo case for $200 and thought he got a good deal (I think so too). FWIW, I paid nothing for my turbo case but its a long story
The input gear isn't too tough to replace. You either need a press (the bearing is pressed on), or have Marlin press a new one on for you before he ships it. You do need to completely tear the case apart though, the input shaft is at the front (duh
) and they disassemble from the rear.

do you know how much the 23 spline gear and bearing would be from toyota? i get a 25% discount at a dealer around here and if its cheaper i would just assume go that way.

does that include the bearing or not. if not how much does the bearing useually run? also would it be a good idea to rebuild the case depending on how many miles it has?
Thanks
