I am curious how you measure .6"? It seems weird that that is the exact measurement that Interco posts on the web site, but if you have them and you measured you should know.

I wonder if/why the 16" variety measures smaller in real life?

I think as a consumer, you should demand more from your tires. 20k? Thats a waste of money.

I would see about buying a used bracket lift, so you can run big tires. Sounds like a lot of your friends run big meats, and that would work pretty good for you. You will have to do all sorts of trimming and pounding on a BJ spacer truck to make 35's work. I would try that before the 34 LTB's. That width shouldn't be a problem.

From everything I have read on them it seems like quality control at interco is a lot less than we have come to expect from the big tire companies. I guess that's to be expected *to a point* given how much smaller they are than the big ones. Does anyone have an idea how big they really are? I have this image of them running batches of a few hundred at a time, switching molds and running a different model/size.

Running batches and switching molds, come on. Maybe when they make the Tundra they build 10000 and then use different plans for the next 10000.

SSR's are a sweet road tire. Like an MT/R how?

Wow! I was just asking if anyone really knew. I can't picture the demand being high enough for their tires that they have dedicated production lines for every unique tire size, maybe for each model. I do know I've read some horror stories about their quality not always being very consistant. I'm not bad mouthing Interco, I've worked in production line type shops. The smaller you are the less you have to spend on equipment, and the more variance you'll see between each item of the line, generally speaking.

Sarcasm, thought you had it too.

Interco makes a lot of tires. Maybe QC is not good as far as rubber compound, as I have seen on SSR's, but I am really doubtful on the size stuff.

Oh I have sarcasm, been trying to rest it though I guess I was more thinking along the lines of wrong info in the sidewalls than actually being that far off on their measurements.

I really would like to know, as I've been planning on running their tires in the future on my 85.
