im planning on 285/70 or 75 (whichever size my stock ones are)r/16, but there isnt much room between the tire and the truck (on the inside) so i was curious.

I'd say the 32x11.50x15's, but since you've the extra room, why not 33x11.50x15's?

33x16's won't work without rubbing in and out of driveways and ANY slight off camber situations. Sucks. I have a thread about my FS Destination's here:

Apply "wheel spacers", no wheel rub.

Instead he'll have rub in the fenders from the increased outward position. It'll be bad enough as it is.

Fitting 33's is not a function of lift unless you either limit wheel uptravel or create clearance in other ways. Control arm rubbing is best solved by either clearancing the arms or replacing them.

33x11.50x15's wont work anyway.. i think he has a 16" rim which carry with it a larger caliper that wont allow for a smaller rim size ( at least thats how 4runners are ).

i have a 3 inch lift with 32x11.5R15 tires and the only rub i get is from the fenders. but thats only because theres pieces of plastic stickin out. other than that it doesnt rub anywhere else. i run 15x10 Micky Thompson Classic ll wheels.

ASU4runner....are you running the 33's on the lift you have? no body lift involved? if so...which tire exactly? i am taking the step up when the stuff arrives.

Have you considered 255/85 r16s (33") or 235/85's (32")? They fit stock rims, aren't too wide, and are cheaper than 285's. I'm looking at adding new tires to an '03 Taco with the same amount of lift and those seem to be the easiest fit on stock rims.

I would just do a 3" bodylift and leave the 33s. You can actually fit 35s with six inches of lift.
