ok, well since i just told you to search on the other post for the exact same questions. if you have 4-6 inches of lift, you'll need bigger tires, unless you live in hawaii where stupid looking trucks are acceptable. bigger tires, means regearing. unless of course you want no power and 5 mpg. seriously search. its the best option. you can get a million opinions, and none of them might work for you. try this site. www.toyteclifts.com

with ifs, independent front suspension, anything over 3 inches, and your cv angles can start shredding boots.

That is too much lift IMO just for looks, probably excessive in most cases. And whats w/ the HI truck bashing? Are they seriously that bad? And why are they confined to HI? I don't get it.

4 to 6 inches of lift is alot for a vehicle if your worried about your ride quality. You might want to stick around the 3" mark. Get youself a Performace Products catalog. There's a bunch of different lift options in there and it shows how they look on your rig. Then go from there. Good luck!

in HI they just like their trucks big and some people think its a bit outrageous. When I say big, i have seen some rediculous set-ups to achieve 6-8+ inches of lift on IFS vehicles. Well we are all entitled to our own opinions............
