As far as the rear. That is normal for 4runners....doesn't mean it's right...but it's normal. I opted to buy a set of skyjacker 4 inch lift springs to match my 4 inch lift up front. They cost 300.00 for both. I will be selling them probably late in summer, so if you plan on a lift, I'd sell em for 200.00 they're only a year old. If you plan to keep stock height, I'm sure that a new set of stock springs would cost about the same (300.00)

If you want really comfortable springs for the rear, get deavers or nationals. Much softer than skyjacker or add a leafs. I know they look cheap, and they do correct the sag, but add-a-leafs will make your ride very stiff. You could use lift blocks to solve the problem and that would be ok, but new spring packs will get you better articulation. What's more important to you price or performance?

As far as the front, why do they say you need a new front end???? Is it all bent up? If it is that mangled, I would suggest doing a solid axle swap. That will cost you in the range of 2-3000. But will make your truck easy to lift and very capable. Would probably be easier than trying to fix the IFS if it is messed up real bad.

If you're arms are bent, but the bracing is okay, you might want to check into the Total Chaos long travel kits, They include new A arms and all you need is some T-100 axles (100.00) to retain 4wd. The chaos kit costs about 1700.00. But it will make your IFS a lot softer and a lot more flexible.

Then of course you could get the trailmaster or procomp 4" lift (What I have right now) but I don't believe that would correct any front end issues, as far as I could tell it would make them worse.

I hope that helps.

Check out www.protrux.net

I know it's a San Diego shop but,It has the linkes to Total Chaos's website (I already forgot it)

Before assuming that the rear is sagging measure it ground to frame rails. The rear wheel wells are cut lower than the front so it throws off the perspective.

On your front end, is it just loose steering or something worn out? You can rebuild the idler arm (mock steering box on passenger side) for cheap and all the rod ends and ball joints are replaceable. Need to know where the problem is, "needs a new front end" sounds like the shotgun approach to me. Replace everything and sure it'll be good to go, but a lot will be wasted in the process.

Re:Newbie

Thanxs for the info the front end isn't all messed up after further checkin it turns out it was the shocks, idler arm, and strut arms which gave it a wicked shake but its better now. I am going to take shanes advice and measure the rear end b/c every thing looks fine back their so i might have just looked at weird that day. Now I'm lookin to fix it up and i think im gun keep the ifs due to a lack of funds so if ne body has a starting point to fixin up a 22re 4runner please tell me thanxs
