Question 01 Tacoma lift kit advise for noob

Hello everybody, I own a 2001 Tacoma double cab v6 2wd. About 5 weeks ago I had a 6" Fabtech lift installed as well as 35s. In 4 weeks my transmission went out (simply driving on the highway never off road), now I'm getting it rebuilt and any advise on what I can do to beef it up so it doesn't fail would be geatly appreciated. Thank you.

first off you dont need a 2wd with 6 inchs of lift and 35s. Do you know what gearing is??? then maybe you should have switched out the gear in the rear with something a little bit lower. that would have been alot cheaper than a trany rebuild. whats the point of your truck anyway.

and to all the people that are gonna chime in and say its his truck he can do what ever the hell he wants sit back and think about how much you hate these types of trucks

You need to re-gear your rear end to 5.29 or even 5.71 to compensate for the tire size.
