Tundra wheel noise

I have a 2003 Tundra that I bought in December. There is a knocking kind of noise coming from the front wheels that increases as I speed up and slows as I slow. I took it to the dealer and they told me that since I put new tires on it that they couldn't do anything. The lady then said that it was the hubcap making the noise. I took the wheel off and didn't see anything wrong. The noise didn't stop when the hubcap was removed either. I thought about the ABS, but that is supposed to stop after a couple of minutes, and this happens constantly. By the way, the noise was there before when I had the factory tires on it, I just never really paid too much attention to it. Any help will be really appreciated.

Man that ain't cool, it shouldn't make noise. I don't quite understand what you mean by knocking? Usually a knocking sound can mean something is loose. Can you elborate a bit? Thanks.

Sorry about the late reply, but I have been really busy lately. The noise is gone. I just put on some new rims, and that took care of everything. Thanks.

Cool Tundra noise

Killr,
It may be a bad CV joint especially if it is only heard from one side; it is rare for more than one to go bad at one time, but even more rare for one to be bad straight from the factory, but you never know. If a CV joint/drive shaft were dropped it could damage the CV joint bearings and it wouldn't be evident until the truck it was in were driven a while. That's my guess...
