Tundra Seatbelts

Recently had the stealer replace both the passenger and driver side seatbelts, under warranty, because they wouldn't retract when you took them off.
Now, the problem I have with those new belts is they lock up and don't allow you to move while I'm accelerating. But once I take my foot off of the gas they unlock. Weirdest thing I've seen.

Was wondering if there were a way for me to adjust them? I really don't want to go back to the dealership.

Thanks

I notice mine "locking" up on a bumpy road more than any other time. Although quick movements will lock them up too. I would not try adjusting them yourself as I would not want you to compromise the integrity of the mechanism. It might be something you learn to live with, but the lock up during acceleration seems strange.

Mine does it too, but under hard acceleration, it's a wierd thing but I believe it's normal. Believe it or not, Ford has got the best retracting seat belts...it's about the only thing they make right.

i have the same problem with my tundra the passenger belt locks up from any kind of acceleration and both passenger and driver belts lock up if i am sitting on any kind of a hill and i can not get the belts on, if i am on my driveway i usually have to back out on to the road so i can put my belt on, drives me and my passengers crazy.
