tundra rear end ratio??

tundra rear end ratio??

I have a friend that has a 2001 tundra 2wd limited 16" wheels. Do es anyone know what gear ratio it has and will a tacama rear end work with the tundra. thanks for any info on this topic.

Gear ratio = 3.91 or 3.92

Most recent Toyota's use an 8" carriage, so the third member may work, but not the actual axle, Tundra's I would assume to be larger.

Tundra Gear ratio

I got a 01 tundra but its TRD 4WD is the gear ratio any different if so whats the ratio

Nope it's the same, no change to ratio, unless it's a V6, I think they have a taller gear ratio.

IIRC, all 4x4's came w/ 4.10 gears.
tundrasolutions.com has the answer to any Tundra question you could imagine(although, you might have to pay for it)

That's not right.

I'm don't know about the recent two years but the older, first years where like I said 3.90~3.91s. If it was a 4.10, the truck would be screaming down the highway with a V8.

The V6's might indeed be 4.10's, but not the 4x2 or the 4x4 V8s.

Okay just checked toyota's website and indeed they list the new double cab and the Access Cab with 3.91's, V6's appear to contain a 4.10 ratio.

I got a 01 to i'm guessing i got 3.91. I got a v8 and 4wd. Is that true
