The Toyota Tundra is offered in various trim levels. Depending on what you're looking to get out of your truck, you can choose the trim appropriate to your needs and preferences. There are three models that you can choose from. Within these models, you can add or take away different trim components. This guide will shine some light on the three main models for the Toyota Tundra, what they offer, and their major differences. Read on to learn more about the various Toyota Tundra models and trim levels.

Toyota Tundra SR5

The SR5 features some of the basic luxury options, such as power windows and door locks, air conditioning, a touch-screen equipped with a Bluetooth connection for your phone, and even the option to easily add a back-up camera. This model features a chrome-trimmed grille which, although it doesn't sound like much, completely changes the look of the front end; you won't appreciate it until you see one without chrome around the grille. This model comes available in 5.7L V7 or a 4.6L V8 which you can get in a regular-sized cab or a Crewmax one. You can also get the standard-sized truck bed, or you can get the long bed depending on your needs.

Toyota Tundra Limited

The Limited offers the same features as the SR5, but with some more upgrades. Starting at $36,000, this truck comes with a different looking grille. If you don't think looks make a difference, think again; this is an absolute monster. If you like the Japanese trucks but you need more of an American touch, this model offers chrome all over. The door handles are chrome, along with the giant mirrors. This model comes with 20-inch wheels, which is two inches bigger than the SR5. If none of the features above are enough to make you upgrade, get ready for the interior. The Limited offers leather-trimmed seats with power controls and heated seats. The Limited comes equipped with navigation, so you will always be able to go home without having to use your phone. The last feature the Limited has the SR5 beat with is a power sliding rear window. Even though this may not seem like much, if you're using your truck for work, this can come in handy with different shaped loads. This model only comes with the 5.7L V8 engine.

Toyota Tundra Platinum

The Toyota Tundra Platinum is a much more luxurious truck; it's almost like buying a completely different vehicle. Priced at $44,270, this truck is on another level. This model offers LED daytime running lights, so you don't have to worry about turning them on or off. Like the Limited, the Platinum offers 20-inch wheels, except it looks different. The power moonroof is a nice addition if you're into that feature. This model offers a back-up camera and front and rear parking assistant sensors, which is great for keeping your truck scratch- and ding-free. This truck comes with unique leather seats that are heated and ventilated. This model only comes in a Crewmax with 5.7L V8. However, it gives you the option of a 4x2 or a 4x4.
