tundra exhuast diameter v8 ?

hey I wanted to put on a free flowing exhuast onto my 03' v8 tundra and I needed to know what diameter to get for the muffler in/outlets.

messure what you got I think it may be 2 1/2 at the end of the tail pipe but 2 1/4 the pipe itself

stock

Just called ny friend who had previously owned a tundra and he confirms that the stock piping is 2 1/4. I would recommend opening it up from the y-pipe back to 2 1/2inches. Ive seen alot of v8 tundras /w y-pipe back systems that give me a good run with my s/c taco... hope this helps

hey thanks I wanted to just replace the muffler but make sure i can reuse the tailpipe and cat.

Don't open it up too much though. I've read about not enough backpressure causing power loss.
