Took a test drive yesterday...
I was at my friendly local Toyota dealer (Davis Toyota - North Hills, Pittsburgh PA) getting a new fuel filter (mines never been changed) when I got to talking about super chargers with Ian in parts. He mentions to me that Mr. Davis (The Davis in Davis Toyota) just had one done recently. I figured, what the heck and I asked if I could go take a snap shot of the engine to post for you folks here wondering what this thing looks like. Turns out its a 2004 Limited, White with Tan leather with every option except the Nav it looked like. Well it has 4600 miles on the ticker and was being put up for sale. As much as I'd have loved to take that thing home to be our new family mobile, I just can't swing it at the moment.
My impression WOW !!!!
You drive this thing normally, you have no clue what's under the hood. Quiet as a mouse, docile road manners - even light stabs at the throttle exhibited no indication of an SC. Put your foot in it and HOLD ON!!! This thing didn't rip your head off (I only did a rolling start, so I'm not sure what it does from a stop), but it delivered gobs of silky smooth usable power. Yes, you hear the SC whine under WOT, but that's OK. It isn't obnoxious by any means.
I give Davis Toyota and the Sequoia Supercharger an enthusiastic two thumbs WAY UP!!
There is only one dowside - after driving the SC'd Seq, I could never enjoy a NA model knowing what's possible.
EDIT: Helps if I put the pics in...

Sorry for the pics not showing. Damn Verizon. They put a spamfilter on their servers now and my space keeps getting filled up - in addition, the personal webspace doesn't seem to be working currently. I posted that like over 3 weeks ago Corey - get with it...
I'll let the newbie slide...

Dang Cebby, I wish you hadn't posted that...
I just noticed today that my acceleration is really hurting. I don't need to hear talk about SCs now.
Not until I win the lottery, of course!
