suspension question

Just wondering what everyone would recomend for a 2001 sequoia 2wd limited. shocks feel worn, truck has 50,000 miles, would like something a little softer/smoother. Opinions greatly appreciated-Thanks!

If you want something softer and smoother stay away from bilsteins. You might want to try a set of edelbrocks. These will give you a factory like ride but better handling.

SCRATCH THOSE KYB..(oops) but when i had them on my taco, they were stiff as hell, did great on the windy stuff, but sucked bum off-road. might even try some monroes, pretty sure they have a lifetime warranty as well.

Your Sequoia is big and heavy unlike Tacos etc so I'd highly recommend HD Bilsteins or other shocks that have the same damping characterics as the Bilstein. When I changed out the shocks on the War Department's Sequoia ('01 SR5) I went with the HD Bilsteins front and rear and the ride felt like it did when we drove that beast off the lot. Handles and rides great.
