Removing Tundra Door Panels

Are there any special tools required for removing the door panels in a 05 Tundra Access Cab? I would like to switch out my speakers in my rear doors. I havent taken a good look yet but I figured there would probably be some kind of clips id have to undo with some special tool. Thanks in advance.

If it's the same as an 02'.....

You need to take out the door latch first and then the panel just prys out . It should be held in with pop-in clips. When you are done just push it back in.

Nice, thanks. Any chance those clips could get lost or are gonna be a pain to align back where they are supposed to go?

2jmotorsports, Hey I've taken the door panels off of most everything I've owned, usually to put "sound deadning" material on the doors. Like the guy stated above remove all screws and or "pushins" if there are any and then pry, with your finger tips the panels off. I might suggest go to the Yota dealer and pick up a couple of extras clips, just incase you break one or two. As for putting the panel back up once you get about two of them lined up it will all fit together. Good luck. EDH
