New User- Am I in?

Hey all, I am a new user to the forum and already like what I see.

First, I am concerned that I may not be welcome as I only have 2wd!
I do however plan to do a smallish suspension lift and locker rear which should be plenty for what I do. What do I do? Mostly forest roads or jeep trails that lead to a camping or riding destination. Little mud, some sand and always rocks. I am a Mountain bike racer and like to get to the unknown and secluded riding areas.

About the truck- it is a 91 2wd Toy standard pickup. No bells and whistles except A/C. 4 cyl, 5 speed, with a campershell and Yakima rack on top.
I have 121k miles on it and bought it from an anal retentive sister ijnlaw who had all the maintenance (scheduled and unsched) done a the dealer. I just recently checked valve clearance and replaced the cover gasket and found a real clean underside!

I am a very experienced mechanic without a garage currently who schleps space to work at friends houses. I plan on doing a 2" suspension lift, 15" tires and wheels, maybe some engine mods that add soome torque and power and things like off road lights and that. This should work very well considering my Honda Civic does not like dirt roads and the wifes Xterra is still to nice to scrape up! I will be looking for help and advice in the engine and suspension departments so if anyone has any ideas, let me know. Thanks and hope to hear more from you all- Cory.

Welcome aboard!
While much of the conversation around here revolves around off-roading, there is plenty of room for anyone with a Toyota and a rich wealth of information to be used by all.
