I got the chance to hammer on a new 5.7. I didn't measure time but it was quick. wanted to break em loose going up an on ramp at about 40 mph when I put my foot to the floor. traction control kept them from going very impressive for a full size truck. much better than a 93 3.0L

hahahahaa indeed! I tried to provoke a 5.7L tundra to a roll race (where my 3.0 is strongest) to see just how massive the gap is, but he wouldnt bite. Not only that but I wanna hear what one sounds like going to redline at WOT.

It all depends on how you drive, I've modded just about everything you can for fuel economy and I consistently get 14.5 with lift and 35s!! Just be nice to the skinny one!

Fuel

Like I said, it all depends how you drive, but I average between 266 and 280 per 19 gallons which is usually what it takes to fill up from just under a quarter tank! I have to admit though that's on flat ground, if I start pulling any hills it goes down to 11.5 to 12.5, as you would expect.

It's also averaging between 60 and 70 MPH

Our truck sucks fuel off road like no tomorrow. But we drive it at 5 to 6 K and have the skinny peddle at the floor. Towing we are getting only 13 mpg
