I got the chance to hammer on a new 5.7. I didn't measure time but it was quick. wanted to break em loose going up an on ramp at about 40 mph when I put my foot to the floor. traction control kept them from going
very impressive for a full size truck. much better than a 93 3.0L

hahahahaa indeed! I tried to provoke a 5.7L tundra to a roll race (where my 3.0 is strongest) to see just how massive the gap is, but he wouldnt bite.
Not only that but I wanna hear what one sounds like going to redline at WOT.

It all depends on how you drive, I've modded just about everything you can for fuel economy and I consistently get 14.5 with lift and 35s!! Just be nice to the skinny one!

Fuel
Like I said, it all depends how you drive, but I average between 266 and 280 per 19 gallons which is usually what it takes to fill up from just under a quarter tank! I have to admit though that's on flat ground, if I start pulling any hills it goes down to 11.5 to 12.5, as you would expect.
It's also averaging between 60 and 70 MPH
