My wife's new truck...Tundra DC 4x4...
Well, she called me on Friday when she was off of work saying she found some nice used one's. Uh oh! I knew I was in trouble then. After looking at 5-6 used ones, the dealer did a good job of selling us on a new one, so here's what we got:
2006 Tundra Double Cab 4x4 - Bluesteel Mica
But, of course, with my normal mindset of modding vehicles and her willingness to do them since it's her truck, here's what we've already purchased:
1) Legacy Seat Covers - $643
- She wanted black inner color, charcoal outer color, and black piping
Here's the same colors she chose, but on a Titan:

2) Weathertech Floor Mats - $111.95
- I wanted the Husky Floor Liners in the rear for better coverage, but she wanted unified colors and look, so we ended up wiht black front and rear
Here's what they look like:

3) ARE MX Series Camper Shell - $1,842 installed
- We got the standard single latch rear door, fold down sliding front window, standard 50/50 split screened sliding side windows, and factory installed full length sliding Yakima Rack
Here's what it looks like without the rack on a Dodge, nevertheless:

4) 16" 3M Clear Bra - $149 installed
- She liked this a lot better than having a bug shield on there
5) 3/8" thick rubber bed mat - $69
6) Trail Seal - Adhesive backed rubber in between tailgate and truck - Free
7) Front windows tinted to match rear windows - $69
8) ATS Color Matched Running Boards - Still waiting on whether we're going to pay quite a bit more than AZtrucks.com's price to have them installed at the same shop we got everything else at. They range between $480 - $700, but they look very factory looking and are color matched, which is something she really wants.
Here's generally what they look like, but I think the Tundra models are a little more squared off at the edges:

Well, she really likes the truck, and she can take the dogs around hiking and such without having them in the vehicle all dirty, which is really nice. The truck also came from the dealer with Line-X Spray-in bedliner and grayish wood grain dash that she really liked. Here's the one thing I'm not happy with:
JBL 6-Disc CD Changer w/ tape - liked that it had a tape
- The radio kind of sucks, though. It's static really comes through and sounds somewhat scratchy. Pretty ĊĊĊĊty deal for a $750 option in my opinion. It needs a filter and increased reception. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix the poor sound quality/reception?
Other than that, she loves the truck and can't wait to get everything installed. She's getting the clear bra and windows tinted tomorrow afternoon. They had to order the bed mat and camper shell and should see those in a couple of weeks.

P.S. Do any of you have any must do mods that I should do?

WOW that's a lot of extras right off the bat! Rock sliders instead of the ATS running boards, perhaps? Hammertite makes a blue color similar to the color of your truck but they also have a black color. You would've saved about $300 too. Just my $.02
Where's the pics?

Hammertite is a spray paint sold everywhere that protects against rust pretty well and has a unique part about the paint in that it has silica crystals that bond to the paint. It makes it have look like a ripple effect on it and it looks like you got it powder-coated after it dries. It's like $3 a can at Home Depot and dries in a couple of hours.

I've got a company vehicle for my DD with free gas! The 4runner is parked, except when going off-roading now. What I like is that eventually I'll buy a car trailer so I can tow the 4runner, because I hate driving that thing anywhere long distances. Chris

I'll take some once everything is installed in a couple of weeks. It just look slike a regular Tundra Double Cab right now, so I'll just wait till it's tinted, the topper's installed, and the running boards are installed, fair enough?

We installed the Weathertech floor mats today, and they look good to my wife. They're black, but I'd prefer the Husky Liners for coverage. They definitely fit and cover more area. It's all about looks to her, though!

Here's some pics without the camper top. We're expecting that to be here this next week. Still waiting on the seat covers too, but other than that everything else is done.
