P265/75R16..on a 16x8...probably want a good 4 5/8 spacing to prevent rubbing especialy on the black overfender guards on TRD Off-road packaged Tundras, and stock.

I have a 04 with 17" wheels. The truck came with 265 65r17 's. Bridgestone "highway tread", crappy tires. Looking to get new tires. Good sidewall, mostly highway and forest road miles. Very little hardcore orv'ing. Any suggestion on size and type. Looked at Toya's and BF Goodrich.

stock - 265-75-16's. you could probalby squeeze 285's with a 1" BL if it were a street queen

Vlad - Go with Bridgestone Dueler's or the BF Goodrich All Terrain. Both are good tires.

Actually Bridgestone Revo's I hear are da bomb!!! Nothing but excellent comments on them and I plan to replace mine with those when my tires go bad. Those would be your best bet for on-pavement driving and some off-road capabilities.

PS...Let me change my backspacing to 3 5/8" with a 16x8 and P265/75R16 in stock height. You definitly want less backspacing for a Tundra equiped with the TRD Off-Road over fender flares, otherwise they might rub on them.

What is the biggest tire that will fit a 2004 4-door Tundra with a 2-2.5" lift?

Without rubbing, I'd say the P285 tire.
