thanks calg3, I seen that one, and theres about 2 guys on cardomain that have lifted Sequoias the rest have 22's and 24's. I would really like to find someone who has atleast 35's cause to me that would be a AMAZING family/go to Slopes kind of SUV.

PLUS ITS GOT A 3rd back ROW! and a 2001 model is alot better in price than a LC, which I Like as well.

I have a sequoia & it is great. To get a larger tire on it you will need to lift it. There isn't a lot of clearance between the rear of the front tire & the fender.

not the greatest pic, but the one on the top left is an SASd Seqouia, really nasty looking.

Celica I got to drive a 02 Sequoia down to Clearwater, FL and it drove fantastic, no Vibrations, not much road noise even at 90mph EXTREMELY SMOOTH. and plus we had 6 ppl in there Comfortable. How's your gas miledge?

That's actually a Tundra but basically the same idea. Pretty slick looking truck.

If you are to get one I would get 03 or newer. They had the brake vibration worked out by then. Also you get the nwer rims & DVD if you are getting the limited.

My milage is OK. on the highway I get 16.5mpg per the little overhead display. That is doing 70mph. I think the everage before I reset it was 13.5 for the city. I haven't done the true way of milage over gallons yet. My wife drives it so she never resets the tripomoeter. I think I am actually getting a little better than what the overhead says. When we are empty with the light on there is still more gas in the tank then it is reading by about 5-6 gallons Alomost 20% of the tank). So it wouldn't suprise me to have a bump of around 2-3 mpg.

Question for Sequoia owners, I just helped put a 2.5" revtek lift on a 03 with 285/70R17 BFG's. We have some rubbing on the frame at full turn one way, then rubbing on the UCA at full turn the opposite way. Anyone else run into this problem?

We are thinking about wheel spacers or rims with a different offset to fix this.

Rub

As far as the rub goes, it's important to have the right back spacing. I look long and hard for ones that looked good and had the proper backspacing. I forgot the amount ask Randy at Revtek. Ultra has some that fit the bill too.

I only have rubbing on the plastic where the mud flap was, it's still there, but nothing is wearing so I haven't cut a hole yet. I have the lift for about a year.

35" might be too big, I have 305s which are 34", I would not go bigger.

Damn that big Sequoia makes those 305's look small.

If I can swing it past the wife, I am gonna ditch the dumb running boards and maybe add a Westin Bull bar, not sure on the bar yet though. It is hard to get into w/o the boards.

He ended up getting new rims with a 4.5" back space and that cured the rub.

I'm browsing cardomain...

I don't know if this next one is lifted, but it looks good, other than the door

Finally this thread is picking up. A Sequoia will definately be my next SUV purchase.

NICE PIC lakemisurfer, hope the mrs. lets you mod it up some more!!!

I just wanna see some aftermarket growth in the Sequoia, cause the Sequoia is a BEAST stock, it dwarfs stock runners at actual driver height.

I'm getting a 3" lift with new 16" rims and hopefully 33s in the spring. Wanting my tires to stick out the side of the vehicle. Anyone know of any way to make sure I get the right rims to do this without spacers?

Yea I ran into the same problem with my sequoia and I did some digging on it myself around here. Really the best option would be to put wheel spacers on. I would use the Spider Traks spacers, very good quality.
