Question How much lift?

I had a guy sell 4 new Firestone destination m/t 285/75/16 for 200.00(he runs a huge tire chain). I want to know if a 3" lift will do?

You can fit any size tire if you set your mind to it.

i have a 2000 4runner Ltd...would i have to do any trimming to fit 33's on a 2.5 inch lift?? Because the limited flares would complicate that i would think

I know your thread is old but you dont need to trim, I added a 3" toytec lift but when its jacked up off the groung it rubs upper control arm, when set on ground it clears.
