I have an 04, TRD, Tow, SR5, all stock, pulls the snowmobile trailer and dirtbikes in the back in the summer, and wood, bark mulch, cow manure, furniture, all the usual truck uses. I love the truck, I can't wait for the next version of the THUNDRA, I will trade/sell mine and get the new one. If the change is anything like the Tacoma, it will be one hell of a truck!

Another proud owner. I wish the gas mileage was a little better, especially now that the price of gasoline is so high.

One more here.

If anyone lives in Cali. You should come out to Tom's Farm in Corona this Sunday (12/5). There will be at least 50 Tundras there. Mine included.

You'll find a ton more tundra owners at www.tundrasolutions.com
I'm not knocking yotatech, love the website, but it's more geared towards tacomas and 4runners. I used to have a 2003 Tundra Accesscab, 4X4, SR5 with JBA headers, Unichip, U/D pulley, 275/70R16 BFG AT KO's, TRD duals, and T3 edition grill painted to match. I miss the truck but not the payment .

my first day on site, 05 v8 tundra D-cab. bought it yesterday from Piercey toyota in San Jose. It is in the paint shop now for a face lift. I'm painting the mirrors, rear bumper and grill/trim black as the first upgrade.

well zebra1550 i am trying to change the look of this site, i believe the tundra is the ultimate vehicle, i've been more places with this truck thrn i have ever thught possible and this is coming from a person that had a 2 wheel drive dakota that i took into place that you would not take a 4x4, so i am hopeing to hear from other people and open this site to mre than just 4runners and t100

Glad to see you are trying to change the face of the board to include more information on the Tundra.

I just purchased a 2001 Tundra and I'm having a hard time finding good information on the web. Sure there is tundrasolutions.com, but I really don't like the idea of having to pay for the information there. Afterall, the internet should be a free exchange of ideas. The other thing I don't like about that site is that it seems to be more about stuffing 1000 speakers in your truck and upgrading the already decent headlights to HID systems. I'm sorry but it's a truck and should be used as such.

I look forward to checking reading up on this site over the next few days to get up to speed.

I'm not sure how far miles wise, but you could mapquest it.

Here is the info on times and a map: http://pixelpainter.com/ts/dec5.html

It's a fun event, you'll get to see quite a few modified Tundras.

Another one here from San Antonio, TX......I used to own a 95 4Runner but sold it and switched to a 2000 Tundra Thunder Gray. I love the V8 power, the only thing I added was a Retrax Rolltop Cover...other than that it's stock.

I agree, there is no way I'd bay a cent to join a website, and now that I know all that is posted on Tundrasolutions is how to add more speakers and convert the headlights, I'm all set with that. For the most part I get my questions answered on this site and it is perhaps the reliable nature of the truck as to the reason why there isn't much info on it. That and the owners on here aren't as hardcore as the Taco+4Runner guys, if we have no questions no one will have any answers. All I wanted to do was put in brighter bulbs for my headlights along with yellow foglight bulbs however since I've posted, no one has any info on the foglights. I also considered 17 or even 18" wheels but reconsidered as I heard gas mileage goes down however slightly, I don't need that.

New Tundras, composite beds as in the new Taco
New, less thirsty, more powerful V8, imagine?
New design, new front end
New interior,
I can't wait!

I have the factory fogs in there, I think they are ok, what I would like to do is put in an amber/yellow bulb for better contrast in the rain/snow/fog, any leads?
