After checking out the new ones at the Atlanta car show, my wife and I are considering upgrading to a used Sequoia. Heard from a friend about a 2007 a moderate drive from me and am considering making the trip.

One very specific question: In the new Sequoias, the rear seats fold flat making a great big flat cargo area (perfect for our dogs). Did the 1st generation Sequoias seats fold flat, too? Really want to know about that before I get all excited.

Is there anything else that I need to be aware of?

I've been looking at 1st gens but don't own one yet. They definitely do not fold into the floor but the back folds forward to about level and they can be removed like the old landcruiser seats pretty easily.
