I do love it! . . . I'm feeling all tight right . . .
. . . now, but I won't buy the first year model, which we can't anyway until next year. I wonder if the 5.7 litre will be a hybrid/cylinder cut off to save gas in certain situations. I would love the new truck but I do like to save money on gas and I wonder what that 5.7 would do and the overall weight do for mileage, can't be good, right?
But the truck does look so, so nice, much better than the current Tundra, even though I love my 04. The interior is so sweet, I would love the console shifter, that thing gets me all worked up as it is, then the dash/guages, how much nicer is that than the current one?
I wonder how much and what the mileage figures would be, I would have to have the 5.7 and maybe the 4.7, but I have the 4.7 240hp version now. The only limit would be if it will fit in the garage, I can dream though . . .
Thanks to the person who posted this, I really do appreciate it.

By the time you're ready to buy, the hybrid version will be out and incentives on the others by 12/07. Meanwhile, the 4.7 2UZ is being updated with dual VVT-i and a CR bump like the 5.7, both working through the new 6A/T. Should be good news for EPA ratings, unless curb weight kills it.
I really like it too. So much nicer in every way than my old 2000 Tundra. No more wondering if it'll stop in time when towing anything up to 10,000 lbs. or beyond with the upcoming V-10 HD version.

I like the new Tundra. looks like some thing that can go head to head with the big 3.
The big center console is good for guy's that work out of thier trucks and have to carry a lot of files with them. My Tundra is way to new for me to trade it in, an o5 with only 11,000 miles on it. But if it were older I would buy one of these.

I haven't heard that the Access Cab is being discontinued. With 38 models in the pipe including the hybrids, I wonder if the current Access Cab will become the new Regular Cab?

I also was thinking there was quite a bit of Dodge look to it at first glance. I like it, It seems a VERY nice truck, I am not however crazy about what I see as a pretty close "at a glance" resemblance to the dodge pickups...but hey. sounds like a mean mother...
