2005 Tundra add on fog lamp kits
Just purchased a 2005 Tundra Access Cab 4WD V8 etc etc
Has everything I want but fog lamps.
There is a place for them in the front grille, dealer sez he could not find fog lamps as an after purchase item in his book.
Any ideas on a good aftermarket kit that is super easy to install
thanks

try ebay... these are very hard to come by. But once in a while they appear on ebay. DO NOT BUY FROM DEALER... the switch itself is 120, the replace the whole stick.. 60 dollar relay, and lamps i believe are 300, last time i looked. I bought my set on ebay for 75 shipped. Got a wiring harness for 11 bucks and installed it myself.. not hard but time consuming. GOod luCk

The factory fog lamp switch is integrated into the normal wiper/light lever
on the steering wheel. I expect that would be a PITA to install.
There seems to be an abundance of empty switch place holders in my truck.
Likely it will be much easier to use one of these than to attempt the light/wiper
stick replacement.

> Why can't it just be a simple on/off swtich?
Another stupid smart switch is the A/C recirculate "switch".
It will now not let you choose recirculate if your vents are pointing
at the front window. In my old '02 Taco it would turn off recirculate
when you changed the vent lever but you could override it by pressing
the button. The tundra won't let you turn it on no matter what when the
vent is twards the windshield.
I really miss simple on/off switches.
