2001 Tundra Left (driver) camshaft timing belt pulley spacer ring issue

Hi

Has anyone had an issue with the Tundra Left (driver) camshaft timing belt pulley spacer ring coming off and not wanting to go back on? The ring was off when I started the timing belt replacement and planned on just putting it back on. Anyone have a trick to get it back on?

Thanks!

After messing with it for a while, I ended up heating the ring up & getting it 75% on and then (hate to say this) but tapa tapa with a chisel and screw driver. Definitely not the right way to do it, but it's on.
