'08 Tundra - hooking lock/unlock beeper to horn???

I have lurked for a while but this is my first post here. I have an '06 Taco but this is concerning my wife's grandfather's '08 Tundra. We recently visited him and he was saying how hard it is to hear the chirp when he locks his doors (it is VERY faint). I'd like to hook that "beeper" to his horn so he can hear when he unlocks/locks it. I have only ridden in the truck a few times (he lives 10 hours away) so I haven't had any time to spend looking at it. He will be up to see us two weeks from now and I would like to preform the modification on it while he is here. It seems to me that I should just be able to find the beeper (hopefully it is under the hood), add a relay to it and run some wires over to the horn wire. Any comments/suggestions/wiring diagrams/etc would be very helpful. Thanks!!!

'08 Tundra - hooking lock/unlock beeper to horn???

That's exactly what I did with my 2000 Tundra. The relay is a must have, the horns can draw much more juice than the beeper, especially on my truck after I added two more horns. On my truck, the beeper was wrapped in with a bunch of other wiring right in front of the driver, between the fender and the brake master cylinder. I had a heck of a time tracking it down with my ears since it was all wrapped in the black tape/insulation stuff. Shouldn't take you more than half an hour to finish up.
