07 Tundra at my local dealer!

Got a look at the 07 double cab Tundra in a TRD and Limited, they just came in. The TRD with 5.7 stickered at $34,000 and change, Limited was $42,000 Awesome trucks!

I saw a white '07 down at ARB back in December, you can imagine what they were going to be doing with it.

No, no pics, I stopped in with my wife to see if they were in and to my surprise they were, didn't get any pics though. I thought I would want a crewmax, but the double cab has plenty of room in the back and you get the 6 1/2 foot bed, I think the bed on the crewmax will be too short even though you gain interior room. I adjusted the driver seat on the double cab to where it was comfortable and then sat in the rear seat which gave me plenty of room and I'm about 6 feet. I was told the crewmax won't be in for a couple of months. Awesome trucks though.

I went and looked at one the other day. They are nice, but the interior is filled with cheap hard thin plastics. Not for me Im happy with my 05 Tundra DC

I will see if I can get some this weekend.

The turning on this truck turns like a car. I don't even want to get into the power of this truck, especially acceleration. The only complaint I have about this truck is learning what all doo dads do

I saw a blue one being test driven on the highway last night, really sticks out in a sea of cookie cutter vehicles, looks huge compared to the rest of the 1/2 tons out there.

Yes the truck is big! I have a superwhite Limted DC 5.7 one and the only complaint I have is, it's too easy to speed in this truck

I will try to get pictures of it today or tomorrow.

I am a Toyota salesman, and about 3months before they were released I got to take these Tundras out and pound them into the ground on various obstacle courses. I also got to pound on the Tundra's competition: Ram, Silvy, F150,and Titan. And no matter what you threw at this truck, it just ate the others alive.

I don't understand why Toyota is marketing the Tundra as a 1/2Ton still. The base model is in the 1/2 ton running, but not the top of the line.

With the 5.7L, 401ft-lbs, 10000lb tow and a 10.25" ring gear, I'd say they're almost encroaching on 1ton territory. If they beefed up the suspention they'd be there. I wonder if they're waiting for diesel to move into the Big Truck market.

I think you are correct, the only thing I see it mainly missing from the 1ton category is the payload.

I hear Toyota probably introduce a diesel in 3 or 4 years.
