I've been reading about the Sequoia supercharger around various forums and websites. I've only found a few posts by people who have installed them but they are encouraging.

However, I'm a little confused about what other parts/systems need to be upgraded when installing a super charger. For my '01 Sequoia I know I need the 01 Supercharger Kit. But do I need to seperately upgrade the "fuel system", headers, and the exhaust? I've also heard that a new thermostat and a limited slip differential are important. I'm lost!

After all this is installed is dyno tuning a necessity? Or will it just work?

I know the TRD Supercharger is around $3800, and the trd exhaust kit is around $900. So I guess I'm looking at more than $6000.

Has anyone else done this?

Find an exhaust shop to make you an exhaust using a Magnaflow muffler or the like and you should be able to save $500 instead of going TRD. I got quoted around $250 for a catback on my 4Runner.
