00' Tundra - Oil pressure variation

I've noticed that my oil pressure drops significantly when I'm idling; is this normal?

MY 04 Tundra also had very low oil pressure at idle(from the factory). IIRC, the owners manual says that it is normal.

grogg,

i installed an aftermarket oil pressure gauge. this is what happens on mine:

- at start up, pressure is around 75psi

- a few minutes of driving street, its about 50psi

- after about 10-20 mins, its about 25psi

Its normal for the oil pressure to vary at different rpms.
