Smile Rain Leaks in a '91 LC

I have a 1991 Landcruiser with 246k miles, original engine and transmission. Runs great looks great

I have a problem though iwith rain leakage into the left rear quarter panel. I can get several inches of water accumulated in the wall on a hard rain.

I finally pulled out the rubber drain plugs so it could drain out, but I want to figure out where it is coming from.

The two places that seem most likely are the mounting holes for the roof rack, or the rear window vent trim.

Anybody have any experience with a problem like this?

I think I have ruled out the sun roof.

Ideas?

Thanks!

The rear sunroof drains run down into the quarter panels, if the drain hole/slit is clogged the quarter will fill with water.
