Points to Electronic Distribuitor

Anybody replace the stock points dist with a later model electronic style? I have a '77 2f with the points and would like to switch in the electronic dist from a 79 2f. Anybody have a clue because when it comes to anything electrical I do not. I've checked all the different websites but couldn't find this conversion. Lots of info on HEI but screw that if I wanted chevy parts I would have bought a chevy truck.

If I had a schematic (for 79) I should be able to help. I've been an auto electrician for some time.

Hey wait, you have both rigs at your place don't you. I should be able to figure it out between the two of them. I'm trying to get my EFI done by this weekend, so maybe later if you are not in a rush
