I *WISH* I could get an FJ40 for $200 like she did. That was just plain sweet. I'm really suprised that the kept if off-road capable. I didn't care for the bamboo floor or the monitor in the back, but the rest of it was definitely nice - EXCEPT the didn't bother to pre-fit the doors before they painted them and the DS door had a big gap at the bottom. I wonder if the really trashed her hard top or if they gave it back to her. They should have painted it to match AND gave her the soft top.

I actually thought they did a pretty good job. I thought the wheels and tires looked pretty good. I also didn't really like the bamboo floor and monitor, but otherwise it was cool..

The strange thing is that they added doors for "security" reasons, then put on a soft top. What good will that do?

no doubt, that was a sweet rig before the pimping

do those ole FJ40's come with a shovel mount up front like that?

SLC Punk, agreed, how does that soft top provide security??

but in LA LA land, that rig is gonna catch some looks.

maybe i should have posted this back in the 4runner list

Heres the write up on the show, just looked for first time and its pretty cool. Also have you ever noticed that there is a 3rd gen 4Runner in the background of every episode.

I also agree the wood floor wasn't my thing or the neon lights and sticker on the hood, but other than that it came out lookin good. I have always wondered about that 4runner with no wheels in every episode.

I saw that ep...the only one I've ever seen. It was a nice ride before & after...Although I could have done without the waterfall, tv and the yellow paintjob.

Deep greens and blues are the colors I choose...
A nice heat-reflecting white is good also.

I meant the owner of the runner... hence the fact that it's been sitting on a lift with no wheels for MONTHS...

Yeah I've noticed that 4Runner up on the rack also. I've been wondering what they're gonna do with it.

Yeah, caught that episode a couple days ago. It was sort of a shame about some of the junk they did (wood floor, waterfall). What was up with the snorkel? It seemed like kind of a lame thing to add on what will essentially a street queen. The yellow wasn't too bad, but I like my white FJ....

For "21 G's" I think I would've made it better...

Oh well, at least they did pick an LC.

So, she's like "dirt poor", right? I'd love to see the look on her face (or anyone else who has been on that show) when they have to go buy new tires for their $400 pimped out rides (LC being the ONLY exception to the $400 value). In a few months, I'll bet every one of them (that hasn't already been stripped or broke down) will be pawning the 22's and buying a regular set of 17's or even 16's with rubber so they can get around. So sad...

Oh, and not to hijack, but in the next episode, this kid has an old escort that was made from two different cars and welded together. They totally scrap the escort and pimp out a new scion xa...

Did anyone notice the number of doors on that 4RUnner??? Ill tell ya, it wasn't 4!!!

And they butchered that cruiser. Plus, what kind of idiots drill a hole in a fender with out first taping off the surrounding area for paint damage? Crikey!!

Her ex should have paid gabby to take this cruiser off his hands
What kind of crack are they smoking? Hell that thing in that shape it was still would fetched at least 3-4 G's. I don't think the exterior turned out too bad but the chrome wheels I can't stand. I don't really like the monitor or bambo crap. The seats don't look too bad.
I think they over inflated the price they spent on it.

I was too busy checking out the little yoga sweetheart to notice the truck. It was a Landcruiser? :beaver:
This guy had to be a real dumb Dumps her and gives up a LC for $200. Must be all that fresh air in LA got to him.
